Well the holidays are behind us now and the new year came with some turbulence.
First of all we wish our friend Simon (Nelfinator) all the best in his new real life endeavor and hope he'll be back around the game as soon as he settles!
We were lucky to immediately repair our hurt raid team and already as of tonight have 2 heroic kills under our belt!
Morchok was the first last week (with the help of 1 pug) and tonight it was Yor'sahj the Unsleeping turn to be downed.
New recruits faired fine and along with the remaining core raiders we are back on track without a scratch!
Great job guys well done!!
Now the "easy" bosses are over so either Zonozz, Hagarra or Ultraxion await their turn on coming weeks (probably in that order).
The team that claimed the kills was Therisths, Piswglentis, Taraldarion, Rimos, Salme, Lucaryo, Lutox, Pixxell, a big fat bear and our legendary gnome mascot.
Grats again to all, keep it up...

Its that time of year again...
Goblins hacking the axis of the earth.... hmm ... actualy thats from another myth, on Azeroth goblins make cannons to nuke Stormwind!
Flashing lights and big smiles all around you (no need to be stupidly drunk to see em tho it still helps).
Having a real life is mildly excused. Slacking to show up for raids isn't considered a deathwish this week.
Its Christmas guys have fun and enjoy the holidays.
Go raid north pole and loot Santa!
Merry Xmas to all and Happy New Gear!!
P.S. Ho Ho Ho

Neltharion the Earth-Warder, Lord Daval Prestor, Deathwing the Destroyer whatever his name has been over the ages his reign of deceipt terror and death is over.
Within a week of the release of Hour of Twilight we managed to go through the Dragon Soul raid content and finaly yesterday defeat Deathwing.
It should have been the night before. With huge effort and an overextended 6 hour final raid night we tried to push for the kill on Tue night. The release of Dragon Soul coincided with a week we all knew in advance would be a bumpy one with people unable to attend or extend raids. Such a terrible week on terms of attendance and bad luck could only end in more of such. The kill that would open heroics for the new lockout eluded us after as close as a 3% try!! It was obvious we had mastered the fight and were on to it but time run out on some of us.
And then we came back and oneshoted it last night!!
It was only a matter of bad luck that we are not progressing heroic content already.
However by no means we stand ashamed. We are proud to be there among the top with 8/8 normal.
Congrats to the whole team, we now relax and get ready for heroics coming next Wed.
PS Slackah now you know we can push our button mate.

November 16th marked a new milestone for our Guild. As of tonight for the first time we managed to complete a full raid meta achievement by its designated time!
Our main raiding team has accomplished something many of us had never done before and after lots of pain and suffering we got our lovely firehawks just in time.
Sure, Blizzard nerfed Firelands raid soon enough and brought us nearer. Sure only 7(6) bosses instead of 13 previous tier is much less.
At the start of Cataclysm and for the duration of previous tier we were among the first to complete the really hard normal content but we fell short when it came to heroics! That eventualy destroyed the original raiding team's spirit and lead to dismantling it and rebuilding from scratch.
Now we can be proud of ourselves that we came through victorius. With several people coming and going, with so many wonderful new raiders and even a couple of old friends returning just in time to join the effort we are now back among the elite of Emerald dream at 6/7 Heroic kills.
Envoys of the End endured the summer turmoil and have risen to a glorius victory run.
And now what?
This tier is coming to close and Deathwing awaits us just around the corner roaring and hissing over the land.
The Firelord also has not succumbed to us on heroic difficulty yet. Well here we are steadfast and ready to keep it up.
Cheers to us.

Once upon a time some millenia ago a diciple of Cenarius was chosen to replace Malfurion as head of the Cenarion circle.
While the one and only Archdruid was in the Emerald Dream Fandral Staghelm was assigned to lead his fellow druids on the material world.
War of the shifting sands claimed his only son's life and most of his sanity along with it.
Fast forward to the present...
Deranged former Archdruid is now recruited by the Firelord Ragnaros to be his Majordomo.
And as of last night he is our latest claim on HEROIC KILLS!!!!!
Congrats to the whole team for making this kill that brings us to 14th place on the realm on T12 10man progression.
You can check the logs of the kill here.
And thanks to Vorbasse you can find a beautiful 1080p video of the kill here.

Yes, we know its nerfed, but by far ragnaros was not an easy fight. I'd like to thank everyone who took part in the kill, but also the people who have progressed through FL with us and missed the kill.
Big hand to the raid team - Vorbasse, Piswglentis, Vardianos, Taraldarion, Nelfinator, Nightrise, Therisths, Lucaryo, Moonsnarl and Rimos!
And ofcourse, thankyou to Zeola for cheering us on from the sidelines after helping us down the content leading up to Ragnaros :)!
Vorbasse has made a movie of the kill, it is available here in excellent 1080p, you should definately watch it.
To heroic shannox!

Better late than ever!
This summer looked grim for us as we lost many of our precious core members but in the end we managed to pull through. With a good progress in the new content (5/7) and soon 6, we are once again amongst the best 10 man guilds of the server.
I want to thank and welcome our new raiders and I hope we ll have an awesome time in game. Together we can work into making our guild even better. A pleasant and friendly environment even for our social members.
See you all in game!

Al'Akir kill last night marks a new era for our guild. Envoys of the End was refounded right before Cataclysm aiming to be reborn and become an established and acknowledged raiding guild. What defines raiding guilds and distinguish them from the masses is their end game boss kills and since last night we can proudly claim we have succeeded in our goal.We have now cleared the entire normal mode content available to the game with 12/12 boss kills and rank 10th in Emerald Dream among 10 man raiding guilds. Since 90% of those who outrank us are guilds with years of history and vast member pools we cannot but be satisfied with our performance thus far (after all we are just on heroic kill behind most of them).
- Perhaps we could devote more time to get to the kills faster, through a fourth or even a fifth raid session as many suggested.
- Perhaps we could setup a more sophisticated recruiting and player management scheme.
- Perhaps we should have been more flexible about our schedule and raid times and disregard some of our founding principles about time allocation and real life.
During these past four months:
- We sacrificed long hours not only to raiding itself but also leveling the guild and preparing for raids. Ofc we spent a lot less than those of hard core raiding guilds but for some of us real life still has to be sqeezed somewhere inbetween the raids.
- We had so many dents to our peace of mind and general mentality. Trying over and over again through failure is the only way to go in WoW. Sometimes it takes hours or even days and weeks of endless wipes to get to victory. All that accumulates fatigue and frustration for all. Many times during all those long struggles all that gathered steam needed to be vented. We know we have to brace ourselves in the face of failure and go at it again but its absolutely reasonable for anyone to explode at times. As soon as there are no hard feelings involved its all water under the bridge.
- We recruited people to see them join the team and many leave the team on all kinds of terms. Some couldn't fit in the schedule. Some couldn't devote the effort or time needed while others thought we were in the easy-going mode of WotlK pugs and social guilds that quit 3rd boss down the road after a couple of wipes. Some few couldn't or didn't want to grasp how they needed to improve their performance or behaviour in order to be productive to the guild and not drag the rest down.
All of the above are more or less expected for a new guild especially with our out-of-the-loop raiding schedule. But eventualy all the turmoil, frustration and effort have finally paid off. Everybody that embraced this team and gave their best for this guild now know what a rewarding feeling is that of achievement! How calm and fulfilling it feels to reach the end of a hard journey. We can stand tall and proud wearing the Envoys colors and tag next to our names.
Rejoice my friends we are finally here!
Enjoy your shadow pheonix and get ready for more to come...
Cheers to us!
P.S. Ofc we do not call it here its far from over. This was part one... of many to come. Until the next tier is released in patch 4.2 and the chance to smack on Ragnaros once more, we have the time to farm the current content and wipe plenty on heroics.

Well there is no Clarke Gable or Vivien Leigh in last night's epic tale but still when all was said and done it was gone with the wind...
The skies over Uldum and the whole of Azeroth are free again and the Throne of the Four Winds rests empty!
Al'Akir the Elemental Lord of Air was defeated and banished for good by Envoys of the End!!
Al'Akir might be shunned by his elemental brothers and especially by Ragnaros as inferior to the rest but still proved to be a pain! And don't worry Raggy your own time is almost nigh.
Menipos, Therisths, Pantel, Rodoulitsa, Taraldarion, Lightspark, Nightrise, Voldi, Gothmogx and a random druid were the executioners of the Wind Lord.
Blizzard's concept of creating a fight so heavily based on rng timing and targeting of abilities gave us a run for our money. It took over 50 wipes in the span of almost 8 hours of raiding to down him. No matter how prepared and focused you are there is nothing you can do when all of the boss damage abilities converge at the same time and place (on you!!).
Anyway that's all dust in the wind now and what matters is that we are finally 12/12!!!!
Well done us!

As if being an ugly twin headed ogre wasn't enough already...
As if being a minion of Gul'dan and later of C'thun wasn't enough either...
Enough wasn't even the pain and torture of his demented mind after so many millennia of failure in bringing about the Apocalypse in Azeroth...
What is really the worst part of his destiny is his current demise in our hands at the Bastion of Twilight.
Imagine...
At the dawn of Deathwing the Destroyer's reappearance...
Just around the time of reckoning when the end of all things is near ... just when his Old God masters plans start to come to life after so many aeons of nothing but failure...
Here come 10 strange adventurers and everything perishes...
Poor Cho'Gal you have our sympathies...
I and all the other Envoys of the End who brought this untimely end to your miserable and unfulfilled existence regretfully plead for your forgiveness...
OR NOT!!!
Killing you for the first time last week was purely satisfying! Even more so you being the most notorious evil twisted ogre Chieftain ever and leader of the Twilight Hammer cult. Just about the time you were trying to unleash hell upon our world you perish. That makes us not exactly sad... more like thrilled to the bone!!!
Big grats to Menipos, Therisths, Pantel, Rodoulitsa, Taraladarion, Lightspark, Nightrise, Voldi, Yamazaky and their pet tree for making it happen!
Eleven down 1 more to go!
